LIGHT VEHICLE MECHANIC - SHEFFIELD

We have a job vacancy for a Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our existing maintenance team at our Sheffield Depot.

Responsiblities

  • You will be responsible for servicing, repairs and diagnosis of faults, troubleshooting issues and rectifying them.
  • Undertake all levels of car and van servicing, repairs and diagnostics.
  • Inspect vehicle mechanical and electrical systems to diagnose and repair accurately.
  • Work in a timely manner in line with operational needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  •  

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of two years experience as a vehicle mechanic.
  • Sound knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods.
  • Ability to use various tools to carry out. servicing and repairs
  • Hold a valid UK driving license.

Essential Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in light vehicle mechanical, maintenance and repair
