Platform Operator & Driver

We are looking for an experienced platform operators to join our large truck mount team.  The positions are full time and permanent.  The hours are flexible to fit with our clients including working early mornings, weekends and nights.  There may be some work away from home.

 

Applicants will need to have a full driving license valid for use in the UK, HGV Class 2 & IPAF category 1b.

 Sales Person

We are looking for an experienced sales person to join our team based out of our Sheffield Depot.  Fun and friendly you will be responsible for building and creating relationships with customers, existing and new. We’d love it if you could offer proven experience in the Access & Plant Hire Industry, but Teamwork is what we pride ourselves on.  So, if you have transferable skills we’d love to hear from you too. You will be responsible for creating and winning work through tender authoring and submissions. You’ll be responsible for publishing all PQQ and ITT deliverables in a compliant format to achieve tender deadlines. Through research of your own you have a clear idea of customers expectations collating a library of information. Being a senior member of the team you will be required to work across several departments pulling together the information required.

 

What you’ll need to succeed

You’ll be passionate about the FM industry and your experience working as a Bid Writer for a top performing business will lead to your success. You will have an appreciation for the full bid process and a demonstrable track record of bid writing success. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential; as are strong computer and presentation skills. You will be methodical, detailed and work well under pressure. Write bids & tender proposals to secure new business

  • Work with operational and cross departmental colleagues to understand what the business delivers and can offer to be able to write compelling narrative for the bids and proposals
  • Create bid overview documents in a pre-agreed format to provide snapshot overviews and review documents of each bid/proposal
  • Follow agreed bid process
  • Create and maintain the Bid library
  • Fully accountable for end to end bid process
  • Working various managers to ensure pricing is completed on time and accurately
  • Support bid/no bid recommendations
  • Feed into Lessons Learnt reviews post each bid
  • Participate in weekly update meetings
  • Submit monthly reports to management detailing win and loss situations

This position would be working for two small businesses, Cinderella Support Services and Elev8 Access Platforms.
