One of the main hazards we encounter when supplying our services is the working environment in which the project takes place.   Elev8 work closely with our clients to understand the hazards and controls at your site to ensure that we select the best project team and equipment for your job.  We create site specific RAMS (risk assessments and method statements) including the controls required to ensure our work is completed safely.

The experience of our team spans many sectors including telecoms, renewables, heavy industry, heavy civils, construction and the oil industry.   We work in diverse environments including those covered by the top tier COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) Regulations.

With our expertise in work at height and lifting we can also offer you a complete project planning solution.

When you order an operated MEWP, you also get a competent and experienced operator who will assist you to reach your working area safely.  Our IPAF trained MEWP operators are both experienced and well trained in the use of our fleet of access platforms.  As well has being trained to IPAF standards our MEWP operators are experienced  in working in a wide variety of environments, including those covered by the COMAH Regulations.  They hold training in other areas of safety which may be applicable for the working environment on your site.

Elev8’s contract lifting team includes CPCS qualified Appointed Persons, Crane Supervisors and Slinger Signallers.  Our contract lifting team works in diverse environments including those covered by the top tier COMAH (Control of Major Accident Hazards) Regulations.

Lifting operations should be planned by an experienced and competent person with adequate training, knowledge and skills for the task.   When you use Elev8’s contract lifting service you can rest assured that one of our experienced and qualified Appointed Person’s plans every project.  There are many factors to consider when planning a lift including:

• the site where the lift will take place
• ground conditions
• environmental conditions
• the load itself

The safety of road users, pedestrians and your workforce are our primary consideration when we design, plan, install and remove traffic management.

Elev8’s experienced and qualified traffic management team survey each traffic management project and create a bespoke traffic management plan for your site using CAD.  Our traffic management designs are safe and practical ensuring traffic disruption is kept to a minimum, and that both traffic and pedestrians are safely managed whilst you work.

Elev8 traffic management service is National Highways Sector Schemes (NHSS) 12d certified.  Our team hold LANTRA qualifications so you can rest assured that the traffic management schemes we provide is fully compliant with the current standards.
