Just give our hire desk a call on either 0114-3210644 or 01324-463075 and we will check your access platform requirement and availability.  If you have a credit account set up with us already we can accept your purchase order to confirm the booking. If not, we can set you up an account or arrange an upfront payment for the hire.

Complete our new account application form and return it to our head office along with a copy of your Public Liability and Hired in Plant Insurance, we will also need our T&C signing.

As well as which access platform you wish to hire we need to know where and when you require it.   For operated hires we also need to know what task you are performing with our MEWP so we can establish if PPE or risk assessments are required for our operator.

If you want a self drive tracked access platform we will need your IPAF qualification and evidence of hired in plant insurance.

Yes, Elev8 operate by IPAF guidelines and all passengers in the MEWP basket must wear an appropriate safety harness and lanyard (apart from in exceptional circumstances- such as working over water).  You can bring your own harness or if you do not have one please speak to our hire desk who can help.

As with all business activity you need to have public liability insurance.  You will also need to have hired in plant insurance to cover the value of the MEWP you wish to hire.

A days operated MEWP hire is 8 hours on your site.  For self-drive tracked access platform hire a days hire is 8 hours from collection to delivery.

Yes you can as long as the safe working load of the access platform is adhered to.  Some of our MEWPs can be hired with specialist attachments to help lifting materials and equipment safer.  Our lifting frames can hold bulky materials such as large panes of glass on the outside of the MEWP basket, so they can be safely lifted.  We also have a selection of cage and boom winches which can be used to lift equipment.  For more information on our specialist attachments please click here.
