Coronavirus – What Elev8 are doing to mitigate the risk.

We would like to reassure our customers that Elev8 are taking additional measures to keep both our employees and clients as safe as possible.

Here at Elev8 we already have in house expertise via our associated company Cinderella Support Services, an approved supplier of cleaning services to the NHS. This team are well versed in high standards of cleaning and infection control. Elev8 already operate a great standard of hygiene at work and we are utilising Cinderella’s expertise to do our very best to keep our team and your team safe.

Access Platform Operators spend a lot of their time alone on the road driving to our customers sites and operating MEWPs for our clients. Like many of us working from home is not an option for them, however by nature of their role they do not mix with lots of people at work. We have taken steps to ramp up our cleaning protocols and encouraging all our employees to follow public health guidance.

• Elev8 employees are being encouraged to follow government advice for hand washing, respiratory hygiene and self-isolation where necessary.
• Our operators are being supplied with hand soap & water so they can maintain good hand hygiene when out and about.
• MEWP baskets are washed when they return to base, paying attention to high contact areas such as handrails.
• Our depots and offices have hand sanitiser available at all entry points and we have increased the clean frequency of high contact areas.
• Should one of our employees or their loved ones be diagnosed with the virus we will implement measures to support them and prevent the virus spreading by disinfecting our premises and equipment as necessary.

Elev8 will work together with our clients and suppliers to do everything we can to stop this virus spreading whilst continuing to supply our customers with the high standard of safe working at height that they expect.  Our office continue to answer customers queries and take bookings, and our self drive customers can be assured that we are still operating our self drive cherry picker hire service from our depots.

The Elev8 team continue to work to our values being collaborative, innovative, reliable and safe.  We are closely monitoring the situation and will inform our customers if anything changes in the coming weeks.
