Each of Elev8's certifications and memberships is described in a little more detail below.
ISO 9001 was first introduced in 1987 and requires organisations to demonstrate that they do what they say they do, and that they have a Quality Management System in place to ensure consistency and improvement. These lead to high levels of performance and customer satisfaction. Certified organisations are committed to continuous improvement and are assessed to ensure progress is being maintained.
ISO 14001 was first introduced in 1996 as a British Standard and requires organisations to have an environmental policy and action plan in place to manage their impact on the environment. Certified organisations are committed to continuous improvement and are assessed annually to ensure progress is being maintained.
Elev8’s management system is certified to ISO45001:2018 the international standard for occupational health and safety
ISO45001 is the international standard for occupational health and safety management systems. The standard replaces ISO18001 and encourages a proactive approach to health and safety as well as putting emphasis on leadership and employee engagement to promote a positive health and safety culture.
The SafeContractor scheme is a SSIP-approved health and safety assessment scheme for contractors who want to demonstrate that they’re taking responsibility for their legal health and safety requirements.
Elev8 are also approved to work on MBNL sites and use the Agora system to access Cellnex sites, which are essential for many telecoms projects.
Elev8’s traffic management service is certified to National Highways Sector Scheme 12d stage 1 & 2. Based on ISO9001 the National Highways Sector Scheme is a quality management scheme designed to ensure that the installation of traffic management is undertaken to industry and nationally recognised standards. Sector Scheme 12D is for those who install, maintain, and remove temporary traffic management on both rural and urban roads, and is mandatory for Highway Agency contracts. The scheme places a strong emphasis on health and safety, and it aims to make sure that temporary traffic management work is carried out to high professional standards.
IPAF Rental+ is designed specifically for the powered access equipment hire sector. It is proof that a hire company has been independently audited and meets rigorous standards of training, equipment inventory and customer satisfaction. During this audit the IPAF Rental+ auditor reviews all stages of the Elev8’s MEWP hire process to check we are operating to best practice in the powered access industry.
As a national provider of window cleaning services we are members of the Federation of Window Cleaners.
As well as our accreditations we are members of the International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) and Construction Plant Hire association (CPA).
