A special anniversary for Elev8

Today is a special anniversary for Elev8.  15 years ago on this very day we collected our first ever  access platform from Ruthmann in Germany.

Elev8’s story started with our associated company (Cinderella Support Services ) getting fed up with access hire companies not arriving on time to early morning jobs, and sending old unreliable access platforms.  So we decided to purchase a MEWP (mobile elevating work platform) to provide safe access for our high level work.  Safety and reliability were key factors in deciding which access platform to buy.  After a lot of research we decided by purchase from Ruthmann, who are well known for manufacturing high quality MEWPs .  And so on the 29^th June 2006 we collected our first  MEWP from Germany, a brand new TK310.

When Cinderella did not need the access platform for their own high level work it made sense to hire it to other people.   Our new customers were delighted by the standard of service they received as well as the reliability, efficiency, and ease of use of our MEWP.  Demand for hiring our cherry picker grew and so  Elev8 Access Platforms was established as an access platform hire company in it’s own right.

Over the past 15 years our MEWP hire fleet has grown substantially.  Elev8 purchase specialist access platforms from the best MEWP manufacturers in the world.  Our fleet includes truck mounted cherry pickers from Ruthmann, Palfinger, Bronto and CTE , tracked access platforms from Teupen and van mounted platforms from Versalift and CPL.  We keep our fleet up to date by continually investing in new access equipment with innovations that our clients will find useful, with safety and reliability being key factors in the MEWPs we select to add to our fleet.
